EcchiDreams Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

EcchiDreams is providing free service(s) to you, the visitor/user, based on the Terms of Service which is outlined here. When using the services provided by EcchiDreams you are subject to these terms and conditions. Usage of the services on this site denotes acceptance of these terms. The Terms of Service may be changed at any time with or without direct notification to users, so it is recommended that you check back with this thread at any time. If you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to state them in a PM (private message) to any of the Administration staff at any time. If you have opted for paid membership, which is not mandatory, you are still bound by these terms.

Registration Requirements

EcchiDreams does not require personal information such as your real name or other identification that can be easily traced back to you. The email address you provide at registration will be kept in the strictest confidence, and will therefore be kept private. In order to register to EcchiDreams, which is required to view all the forums and/or post, we require a valid email address and you must be 18 years of age, or older. EcchiDreams does not willingly or knowingly collect any information from any users, who are under 18 years of age. If it is found that an under aged user has registered fraudulently, their account will be immediately terminated, with or without notice. Racist, sexist, libelous, offensive or otherwise illegal usernames will get your account banned.

Content Notice

By viewing the site content, you agree that all the content is the sole responsibility of the person in which the content was originated or posted by. You agree that EcchiDreams nor its administrators (owners), moderators, hosts, sponsors, affiliates, or the advertisers is not responsible for any and all content that you personally, or via proxy, post or upload. EcchiDreams does not directly control any content posted on the forums or message boards and in no way shape or form can we guarantee the validity or authenticity of said content. You agree that while using EcchiDreams you may be exposed to content that is offensive or objectionable, and that you will in no way, shape or form hold EcchiDreams, nor its administrators (owners), moderators, hosts, sponsors, affiliates, or the advertisers liable and responsible from any harm that may come to you or others as a result of viewing this content. EcchiDreams does not screen content before it is posted and we will not be held liable and nor will our administrators (owners), moderators, hosts, sponsors, affiliates, or the advertisers be held responsible in any way, shape or form.

Account Responsibility

It is the users' sole responsibility for protecting their accounts from access, be that authorized or unauthorized by others. EcchiDreams strongly recommends, and strongly encourages, that users select a password that is; hard-to guess by a third party, the password is not a dictionary word and that it contains an assortment of letters, numbers and symbols as well as being over 8 characters long to prevent brute forcing (a technique used to systematically go through every character in any language to guess the password). It is also strongly recommended that you do not and will not re-use any password on any other site where it might be known to the owners, administrators, staff, or their third-party-companies of that site. EcchiDreams does not allow the registration of more than one account per-person. If a user is found to have more than one account, all accounts except the first may be suspended immediately with or without warning at the administrators' discretion. Because of this rule, it is highly recommended that forum members do not share their accounts with others, or share their computer, phone, PDA, laptop, or any other equipment used to browse EcchiDreams, as the actions of another person could easily impact all known shared message board accounts, either directly or in-directly. If you must share your computer, or other browsing equipment with another person, or using a public computer it is highly recommended that you make sure you log out of your account.

Privacy and the Disclosure of Information

Under normal circumstances, EcchiDreams will never release information that you have provided to us to anyone other than authorities, and then only if a warrant or court order requires us to do so. Please see our privacy policy for more information.

Impersonation

Users will be banned immediately, without warning, for impersonating other forum users by creating or using a forum account with a name clearly intended to mock, antagonise, provoke another user or falsely claiming to be that forum member.

Privacy and Harassment

Continual harassing behaviour directed towards a certain individual or group with the intent of causing an intimidating, offensive or hostile environment on the boards, with or without uses of any kind of threat, is strictly prohibited by law and we will not hesitate to ban the user without warning and assist if the authorities get involved. Posting private information without permission is also not allowed.

Unauthorised Access

Accessing or attempting to access any EcchiDreams user account not belonging to the user in question without permission is not allowed, and we will ban anyone with or without warning for this.

Bugs and Exploits of the Forums and it's Applications

Using or endorsing external scripts, bugs or exploits in the EcchiDreams source code or its engine, or its server(s) to gain privileges, to access abilities not intended by the board design is prohibited by law, we will not hesitate to prosecute, under the maximom extent of the law. Cheating in our games arcade in this way may result in either a ban from the arcade or complete user suspension, or permanent ban, at the Administrator's discretion.

We discougage the use of any software, scripts and applications designed to circumvent advertising displayed on this forum. However it's probibited to discuss, link to, any software, scripts and applications.

Usernames, Profiles and Forms

Violating any of rules with a username or any part of the user profile (signature, quotes, email, Instant Messenger, fields) is considered a direct violation of the EcchiDreams Terms of Service.

Member Conduct

You agree that you will not use this service been provided to you, to perform the following actions and you understand that even being a premium member, you are still bound by this agreement! If a conduct of an EcchiDreams user or staff member outside EcchiDreams is impolite, rude, unprofessional or otherwise, it is not the responsibility of EcchiDreams, and nor is it in EcchiDreams's Moderator/Administrator's jurisdiction.

Offensive Posting

Posts that are blatantly offensive in nature are not allowed. This includes and is not limited to; using unnecessary vulgar or profane language, even though we have no swearword filter, (we invite users not to abuse this), using race, religion, culture, ethnicity, nationality, gender and sexual orientation as a means of insults, using a sexual preference term as an insult in any way, shape or form, by threatening, harassing, defamatory, hate-speech, libellous language, or by posting or requesting links, or material from websites that are not related to anime, hentai or manga. Also posts/comments/statuses made to seek attention, eg (I'm going to slash my wrists) and/or (I'm going to kill myself!) will be deleted and the user warned. There's enough E-Drama online without you adding to it.

Illegal Activities

Posts that violate or incite others to break the law are not allowed, and maybe reported to the authorities. This includes but is not limited to; obscene child abuse pictures, warez and serial key discussions, torrents to copyrighted material. We have a torrent forum for Golden Premium members and that is solely for their own work, or compilations and is not to contain warez to any software in any, way, shape or form.

Advertising and Spam

Posts and signatures that clearly advertise a service or product is not allowed on the forums. This includes, but is not limited to; unsolicited commercial or personal website advertisements, for sale, for trade, for auction, classified, wanted notices, the make money fast scams, chain letters, pyramid schemes, emails addresses for private services, advertising of another message board. These are not allowed, in post, thread or private messages. However, links to Manga sites maybe provided to you by an Administrator, and if you would like to add a manga site to it, you are to PM an administrator with the link for review.

Posts that disrupt the forums for other users where-ever it was its sole intention or not is not allowed. This again includes but is not limited to; message posts or thread titles that force browsers to scroll horizontally, large blank or content-less posts, bumping threads, intentionally making text hard to read (e.g. ALL CAPS, AlTeRnAtInG cApS, nospacesbetweenwords, excessive. punctuation., Every Other Word Is A Cap and most annoyingly 1337 speak), posting nonsensical messages in a single or multiple topics, posting massive ASCII art, and post counting (eg. "First post" and "100th Post") unless you're also posting then sure, why not show it off.

Text or images containing email addresses/links/urls/sites is not allowed. If you want to promote your site or service, simply put it in the websites field in your personal profile. If you are using sources, you are welcome to use links, however if they are in violation with our terms, they may be removed at administrators/ moderators discretion. Youtube videos can be used with the [ media ] tag which will embed the video into your post, however these videos must not contain advertising.

Do not double, triple, or even multi-post (The act of posting one after the other in a thread, so for example you post when you were the last to reply). There are several exceptions however within the main discussion forums it's a no. You can edit your post if no one has replied, we advise using that. Anyone who multi-posts, and break another rule in this Terms of Service while doing it, will be banned without warning. We accept accidents happen, so if you have double posted by accident flag your post and a moderator will be happy to fix it for you. If it was no accident, you may face an infraction against your forums account, repeat offenders will have all their posts moderated for a period of time that is determined by the severity of the infraction(s).

Flaming (Insulting Other Users) and Trolling (Baiting other users to flame)

Posts clearly insulting to other forum members, individually or as a group, directly, or indirectly are not allowed. Examples hereon are stated ("Like this") This includes, but is not limited to; name calling ("You're a stupid moron", "You fat idiot") direct insults ("Screw yourself", "Inbred wack-off") offensive orders ("Why don't you go and kill yourself.", "Go kill yourself", "Cut off your nuts!") and insinuations ("Are you blind as well as thick?") as well as insults towards members' family members ("Your mom is so fat", "Your mom is so stupid")

Posts, or threads that are made to solely annoy and, or offend other posters by going against the blatant nature of the forums, or topic is not allowed. This includes but again, is not limited to; provoking other users to respond with flames ("I fucked my sister. It was so good!"), provoking fans of an interest in particular, either in the forums dedicated to that interest or not ("Yaoi sucks", "Nightwish sucks balls"), making misleading or provocative thread titles ("Free sex if you're a male!", "Now I got your attention...") or ("I THINK THIS SITE SUCKS ASS!"), asking obviously useless questions ("Can someone tell me what two plus two equals?") and posting false information as a fact ("Hentai is pictures of real people in real situations").

Spoilers without Warning

Posting spoilers (plot details that are critical to a storyline of games, manga, anime episodes) in the tile of a thread or in a message, post, or private message without advanced warning is prohibited. The following needs to be done to ensure that users are warned:

Threads or Topics are titled with [*SPOILER*] while leaving the title as vague as possible.

Pestering members for Cybering, Online Relationships and Sexual Contact via Webcam

EcchiDreams is not a dating site. We're a community who share interests in a particular niche (Anime, Hentai, Roleplaying, etc) and we don't appreciate members hassling other members for e-sex, sex, relationships, e-relationships and/or cybering. Granted it's not unusual that a relationship may form between you and another member, and we're not stopping that. There have been a few members who have been hassled, propositioned and have been made to feel uncomfortable by those who don't know how to keep their hands out of their pants, and register to either leech hentai without contribution or who try and get their rocks off via cybering. Some members don't have a sense of humour to troll those doing it to them and might be driven away by this behaviour if they come here to find nothing but "WANNA SEX ON CAM?!" "WANNA CYBER?!"

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is defined as: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work. Plagiarising other people's work, and posting it on to EcchiDreams is not tolerated. This includes plagiarising other people's posts. Plagiarism will get you instantly banned. Don't do it.

Other

Any other activity that is disruptive to the flow of conversation and normal activities of the board maybe deleted or edited, with or without the permission of the person who posted it, with or without warning.


EcchiCash

EcchiCash is a way for members to earn something that can be used on the site, for fun, or as a way of getting premium membership without paying real money. However, EcchiCredits are NOT redeemable for any cash/psychical items outside EcchiDreams. All items brought within the shop (Including, but not limited to the Premium Membership Passes) is not worth any money outside EcchiDreams, and you must not trade EcchiCredits with other members for real life money. EcchiCash cannot be used to grant you special abilities on the forums other than what is stated. (IE, you can't swap a billion EcchiCredits for Administrative access)

When you get a Premium membership pass, you can only use it once, and when you use it, it will be removed from your profile. A pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/pass that you may have. Premium membership is non-refundable, and you cannot trade the passes for real money. Upgrades possible. [For example if you are a member, you can upgrade to silver with a silver pass, gold with a gold pass. If you’re a silver member and have a silver pass, you will not be able to redeem it until your current membership expires. If you have a gold pass, you’ll be able to upgrade to gold, with a full year set. If you already have gold, you will not able to use a silver pass, and you can use a gold pass to add 1 year on to your current subscription.]

Premium Membership

By being a premium member, you will have access to services that normal people won't have. Advertisements will be hidden from you, and you will have more things allocated to you, such as private messages, role-play characters, and so on. Premium Membership is non-transferable once purchased/earnt. Premium Membership is also not refundable. Being a premium member doesn't give you reign over other users, premium or not. It also doesn't entitle you to break the rules. A platinum membership lasts lifetime, lifetime means the life time of this forum and site (EcchiDreams.com)

EcchiDreams Gallery

EcchiDreams provides for the hosting and publishing of user submitted content via The Image Gallery. Regarding your content submissions, you agree that you will NOT submit any content or post any comments that:

• Depict or appear to depict a minor (under 18) in nude or sexual situations.
  
• Depict or appear to depict a person who is dead, and nude or in a sexual situation.
  
• Excessively violent acts, sexual or otherwise.
  
• Depict or appear to depict a person having sex with an animal (Beastiality). This is not including furrys or anthromorphs unless the furry/anthromorph is depicted or appearing to depict having sex with an animal.
  
• Real people in a sexual situations or nude, this includes if the picture is of yourself, or not. Even real pictures of yourself must be kept in private albums or friends only albums.
  
• Infringes any trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party. Example if work has "DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE" on it, it's not allowed. Unless it's yours, of course. If it is yours please state in the description of the picture that you, the copyright holder, authorises EcchiDreams to host this image as yours, and make use of the copyright field.
  
• Are illegal or in violation of any United Kingdom, United States, or other local laws.

Regarding your content submissions, you affirm that:
You have the necessary licences, rights and permissions to use your content submission in the manner intended by EcchiDreams.com Terms of Service.

• If you're posting up a person in a private album, you have written consent and release of each identifiable person in your submission to use their name and/or likeness to enable the use of your content submission in the matter intended by EcchiDreams.com and these terms of service.
  
• You retain all of your ownership rights to your content submissions. You grant permission for the owners of EcchiDreams.com to use and publish your content submissions in any media formats and through any media channels we see fit.
  
• You grant each user, visitor or staff of EcchiDreams.com a non-exclusive license to access and share your content submissions as permitted under these Terms of Service for as long as such content is hosted by EcchiDreams.com.
  
• EcchiDreams.com reserves the right to remove user submitted content without prior notice and for any reason, including excessive bandwidth usage.
  
• While the Gallery Administrators of EcchiDreams.com will attempt to remove objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review all comments and submitted material. Therefore, you acknowledge that all content expresses the views and opinions of the user and not EcchiDreams.com and hence will not be held liable.
  
• EcchiDreams.com and reserves the right to block users or websites from accessing EcchiDreams.com and other sites within the network without prior notice and for any reason.
  
• You will not copy or distribute any part of EcchiDreams.com in any medium without our prior authorization.
  
• You agree to indemnify and hold EcchiDreams.com harmless from any liability, claims, damages and expenses, including attorneys fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of EcchiDreams.com.

Violations of the Terms of Service

Violation of any of the above rules may result in action been taken upon your account. (This could be anything from a warning, to temporary or even permanent suspension of your forum account) Messages and topics may be removed at any time for any reason and is at the sole discretion of EcchiDreams and its staff. All determinations of what is "acceptable" and "unacceptable" content will be determined solely by EcchiDreams and its administration. You agree that the decision of the moderators and administrators is final, and you may not legally contest their rulings.
