This is a guide for people who wish to learn how to RolePlay or to improve themselves. It also contains a detailed section on Sex Education. I hope that you use it as best as you can.
How to RolePlay
People RolePlay different ways in different situations. On EcchiDreams, there is only one main rule on how you RolePlay on the site.
The way in which you RolePlay is rather simple. You write it in a manner in which you would write a story. With full English, grammar and punctuation. Text talk such as “u” instead of “You.”, “2” instead of “to” and“r” instead of “Are.” Are not allowed under any circumstances!
The reason for this is because text talk seriously irritates other RolePlayers as it is harder to work out what you are writing.Writing in full English is easier to read, understand and it looks better in the post.
Instant messaging format posts are not allowed under any circumstance as it doesn’t look as good as posts written in story format:
Example of what is not allowed;
"*Walks into the room* Hello? *Looks about*".
Example of what is expected;
"He walked into the bar, looking about as if looking for something.
"Hello?" He called out, hoping that someone would answer his unsure call."
Any posts written in a format other then story will be deleted and if you continue, action will be taken [A warning.]. Also, can you please refrain from one or two sentenced posts. Try to make them as long as possible to help keep the RolePlay rolling. If you are not sure on what you want to post, discuss it with other members in the Out of Character thread.
When you post, try to be as descriptive as you can. Describe what environment your Character is in, what they are feeling and how they are interacting with other Characters.
RolePlaying styles and methods.
The most important thing to keep in mind that there are other people posting in the RolePlay other then yourself. Read posts by other people before you even start to reply, especially if they have characters interacting with your own. This is to prevent you from posting something that is completely the opposite of what was posted before yours, example;
Previous post: Amy picked Helen up, placing the small fox on her lap, petting her softly as she stared into space, lost in thought....
Example of posting wrong: Helen was still prancing about as she waited for Amy to pick her up. She then went over to Amy, nuzzling at her leg in a manner to beg Amy to pick her up.
This example is slightly exaggerated, but things like this can severely irritated other RolePlayers and may cause them to avoid your characters leaving you no one to RolePlay with.
Here is a more subtle example:
Previous Post: Amy picked up Helen, placing her on her lap before she looked over at John, saying in a soft voice....
Example Of Posting Wrong: As Amy spoke to John, Helen leapt onto Amy’s lap, making herself more comfortable...
Another thing that can irritate other RolePlayers is that if their characters are having a private moment [ Like they are talking about going off to have sex or something ] and you have your character barge in disrupting what they are doing. If you see a couple of characters doing something privately, avoid them or PM them to ask if you can join in.
Another tip to remember that if you will be gone for a period of time where you will not be able to RolePlay, inform people in the Out Of Character thread or if you are RolePlaying privately PM the users involved to inform them that you will be going and, if you can, how long for. If not,after two weeks, users you are RolePlaying with can restart their characters without your knowing.
Realism and description Lessons.
Description:
When roleplaying, how you perform actions is very important.
You must be as descriptive as you can. For example: *performs action*is unacceptable, as is "he performed the action". An example of which would be;
Not acceptable description: “Amy walked into the room, sat down and turned on the TV.”
A more acceptable description: “Amy walked into the room, sighing softly as she walked over to the sofa where she sat down. She looked about for the remote, giving a soft ‘aha!’ when she found it down the side between the cushion and arm. She then turned back to the Television, turning it on. She sat back, putting the remote aside as she fixed her eyes on the screen.”
See how a one sentenced post was expanded into a post with several sentences?
At the same time, however, you have to be careful not to go overboard. One sentence is usually enough to describe the action you are performing, and at most you will need two depending on the action that your Character is doing. The only time you may need to use a whole paragraph, or even a whole post, is if your character is unable to speak in some way. Examples; a broken jaw, mute,or some form of magic. Or they are doing multiple actions which add up to one action like the example given about. That whole action of her entering the dorm and turning on the TV was split into her entering the dorm, sitting down, finding the remote and then turning on the TV.
You must also remember that your actions would be governed by your surroundings, situation and character/personality. Example; your character, a shy or easily worried person, when stared at by another character with a large intent to kill, would at the very least be scared, or possibly even faint, from the killer intent. Even if the stare was not aimed at them, or they couldn't see the other person, unless they were also extremely dull or ignorant, they WOULD feel it even if they were not afraid of death or a very brave person.
While writing your post, the best thing to do would be to put your self into that situation with your Character personality and body. Not only should you describe the actions of your Character, but also their feelings and any thoughts that are crossing their mind. For example. One Character treats another is a nasty manner, calling them names and being physically abusive. For a character that does not like this treatment, they would lash out back at the other Character with feelings of anger and dislike. They could be thinking of the injustice of being picked on and how they can get their own back on the attacker.
Realism:
RolePlaying isn’t exactly an exact copy of the real world, I mean, you wouldn’t see Neko’s or Kitsunes walking about in every day life. However, serious RolePlayers like a hint of realism to their RolePlays. Like you cannot have your character fly without some kind of reason [Like they can manipulate air or they have wings.] Or they have an unlimited amount of money without a reason [Like they won the lottery or they run a multi-million business]. Realism is important in RolePlays as it prevents people from doing ridiculous things such as have guns that shoot deadly rainbows etc. Realism also prevents GodModders from coming in with their God like characters. Non-realism and GodModders ruin the RolePlay and take all the fun out of it, which is why there are rules in place to prevent people from destroying the experience for you, the RolePlayers.
A Lesson In Sex Ed!
Okay, I know what you’re thinking. ‘I know how to have sex!’ Yes, perhaps you do. But do you know how to RolePlay it? When RolePlaying sex, people like to see posts done with not only the actions, but feelings and thoughts. They like it written in intimate detail so that they are able to picture it in their minds eye.
ForePlay:
Foreplay differs from person to person depending what they like/dislike. ForePlay is the process in which the participants arouse each other so that intercourse can occur. Some common ones involve such things as playing with breasts, giving the male a hand job and oral sex. Depending on the fetishes of the people involved, different things can happen. For example, if they like Sadomasochism. So Foreplay would involve pain which can be delivered in a variety of ways. So you will need to think on what your Character likes during sex and exercise it in the RolePlay. While you are doing the RolePlay, put yourself into their situation. What would you be thinking? How would you be feeling? Depending on the situation, your Character will be thinking and feeling differently. If they were having sex with someone they love, their mindwill be filled with thoughts about their partner and how they view them. If they are having loveless sex, the Characters will feel nothing towards each other [Unless one loves the other but the other one doesn’t return their feelings.]
Vaginal Sex:
Female perspective: The pleasure a female receives from vaginal stimulation can vary from one woman to another. Pleasure can occur around the entrance of the vagina where the movement of the penis stimulates the nerves. The stretching of the vagina walls also causes pleasure as the penis moves in and out of the vagina. Deep inside of the vagina, most woman feel pleasure each time the penis penetrates and rubs against the paraurethral gland [Which, when fingered, feels like a rough patch inside of the vagina ]which can, after stimulation, causes a female orgasm. When the female has a vaginal orgasm, her vagina tightens around the cock inside of her as it can spray all over [ depending on the force of the orgasm ]. This is to encourage the male to cum inside of her to impregnate the egg. Female cum comes out of the urethra just like a male cum comes out of the urethra, but this is not urine! Female cum is essentially male cum, just without the sperm cells, so it is sweet to the taste, unlike male cum [ The sperm gives the cum a more salty taste ]. Making a female cum will make them love their partner unconditionally in any circumstance and make the female want to fuck them.
How good the vaginal sex feels can depend on what their mood is and what they feel for the person they are doing the intercourse with. If the woman is in a depressed mood and not really up to it, then it wouldn’t feel that good and they wouldn’t really get into it. If they are in a happier mood and they are sufficiently aroused then it can feel good to them. If the woman feels close to their partner, sex tends to feel a lot more satisfying as they feel emotionally close to their partner as well as physically close. They feel closer to them, especially if the male makes the female orgasm. When females are having loveless sex, it doesn’t feel as good or satisfying for them unlike if they were with a partner they loved. Also, another factor that can determine how good it feels is also how wet the vagina is. If the vagina is to dry, vaginal intercourse can be painful. On the other hand, if the vagina is to wet, the female might not feel the penis inside of her as well as if she was dryer. When condoms are worn by the male, this can also inhibit how good it feels as well. It doesn’t feel as good as the plastic prevents the female from feeling the penis and it prevents the penis from rubbing against the paraurethral gland inside of her efficiently.
Male perspective: Men have fewer erogenous zones. Pretty much the penis and that's about it. Okay, there is a bit more but guys will not orgasm without direct stimulation of his penis. Men don't tend to moan or get as deep into it because of an evolutionary survival trait. They are never able to fully forget everything and fall into that trance like state because someone needs to watch out for danger. They did a study where they scan both males and female brains and the male brain stayed more alert while the female brain turned off like in a sleep state. That is the best way to describe it in a way that is understandable. Although men do not moan, they can still be verbal about things, just say different things [ Like comments on how their pussy feels or something like that ]. Men are not good at having sex and think coherently at the same time. That being said they can be verbal about things they just say different things. Also, men are not as good at multitasking as woman are so when sex is involved they are very often notable to do many things like for example; think. This can be seen when having a conversation with a male. Let him talk like a maniac and then watch him develop a speech impediment when a hot girl walks by. Their brains are not wired to handle so much.
So, how do they feel physically? Well, it depends of where they are touch and how it is touched. There is sensation in the shaft but is not as strong as lets say, the gland (head). The male gland and female clitoris are equivalent of each other. The shaft feels like a tickling sensation. One way to get an idea of what it feel likes to at least masturbate is to rub the back of your hand against the back of the other hand. Is not completely the same but it will give you an idea.
Inside the vagina it feels different. It is also different if you are using a condom. There is a loss of sensation with a condom as the plastic prevent the penis from being stimulated in its most sensitive area. At best it may feel like masturbating but the grip is not as strong. Men tend to be rough with their toy. If doing it au natural then that's a different story. For one, if the girl is wet it feels very slippery. Men can definitely feels how wet or dry she is and they can tell as it changes from state to state. Note that the inside of your mouth has the same material as a female vagina so if you put one finger against the inside of your cheek you will feel what we feel if the girl was really wet. There is however more to the story. Men tend to describe a vacuum feeling, and also as if their penis is expanding. The best way to describe it is to grab two of your fingers with your hand and then expand your fingers. The feeling is that of your closed hand not the fingers. It is definitely a very peculiar feeling and is not the same if you are grabbing the penis with just your hand.
One thing that many people forget is that sex is not just mechanical. A lot of it is in their head. So it may feel different depending on their mood and emotional connection to the person.
Now, about that orgasm. The feeling differs for every person, and it also differs every time you do it. Breathing or holding your breath also has an effect. Orgasms are one of the hardest things to describe. It can vary from person to person, and even from one sex session to another depending on their mood and how aroused they are. The more aroused, the more powerful the orgasm. One of the best ways to describe it is, you know how you sometimes lay in the couch or sit in a chair for a while and then you feel the need to stretch? Ok that feeling of stretching while holding your breath is kind of what it can feel like but multiplied by about a factor of 10. When the man cums inside of the female, unprotected, there is usually this pressure felt as the cum fights to go back down the vagina around the penis.
Anal Sex:
Female Perspective: Different woman have different amounts of pleasure from it. Some love it a lot, others feel no pleasure from it. It is not the same as vaginal as it does not have the same sensitive spots that the vagina has. The female can feel the cock filling them up. Women do not have a prostate gland, unlike males, so they cannot receive any pleasure from stimulation from that gland. During the first few times, if the cock is not lubed properly, it can sting around the rim of the arsehole and inside where friction occurs. So you can have your character love it or hate it.
Male perspective:
Giving: The arse is described as tighter and hotter then the vagina. There is more friction [ Due to the fact that it does not have the right lubrication ]. Pleasure tends not to come unless it done hard and fast otherwise the friction may cause pain. During double penetration, the penis inside of the arse can feel the penis inside the vagina through the wall between the vagina and rectum. When a male cums inside of the arse, unlike in a vagina, there is no pressure felt by cum fighting to come back out.
Taking: During Anal sex, when receiving it, there are two main erogenous spots. Around the rim of the Arsehole [ Due to the amount of nerves bunched there, which is why licking around the anus is pleasurable for both woman and men. ] and the Prostate gland. When Anal sex is first initiated, it can be painful, depending on how gentle the giver is and how much lube is put on the penis/ strap on/ dildo. Once the penis is inside the rectum, the movement of the penis going in and out stimulates the nerves around the anus to cause pleasure. If the giver aims it right, the penis can press against the prostate gland. Receiving males have described this sensation as ‘Pure ecstasy’ and that they see stars. The prostate gland houses the alkaline substance that goes along the urethra with the sperm cells. This neutralises the acidity of the vaginal walls so that sperm cells do not die.When the prostate is stimulated, men can have a ‘prostate orgasm’ where, if stimulated, releases this liquid out of the penis. Prostate orgasms are very good for heath and, the next time the male has sex after this, they cum a lot.
Oral Sex:
Female Perspective: During Oral sex, the spot that causes the most pleasure is the stimulation of the clit which is an extremely sensitive part of the female sex organ. During oral sex, when the clit is licked and sucked on it can cause the woman to moan and even scream if done right. If fingering occurs, stimulating the paraurethral gland, female orgasm can occur. Female orgasm is more likely though Oral sex then through vaginal sex. Stimulation of the vagina entrance can also cause pleasure, but not as intense as stimulation of the clit. Oral sex can arouse a woman very quickly cause her vaginal juices to start flowing so that vaginal sex can occur.
Male Perspective: This can be a little difficult to describe as it can vary from one blowjob to another. It determines what the person giving the blowjob does and what they prefer in a Blowjob. The temperature of the mouth changes depending on what the person giving the blowjob has had. So if they’ve had coffee, their mouth would be hot. If they had had ice cream, their mouth would be cold. So depending on what the male feels sexually satisfying will determine how good it feels. The giver can tighten or loosen their mouth around the cock, making it feel tighter or looser. If the giver deep throats the penis, the back of the throat rubs against the head of the cock, giving the receiver pleasure as it feels like a really tight vagina. So if your characters are exploring with this, think about if your character likes them in a certain way and tell the other Character what they like. So if they like them to drink coffee before giving a blowjob, tell their partner if they wish. It is all down to what your character likes/dislikes.
Multiple Partner:
With multiples partners, the sensations for sex would be the same as they would for the above noted [The Vaginal, Anal and Oral, except when Anal and Vaginal are done at the same time, the thing wall between the rectum and vagina allows for the cocks to feel each other and the female can feel the two cocks as well] however you will need to think about where Characters are in relation to each other to have sex. Try and see each and every character in the vicinity in your mind. Does it fit? How does the submissive partner feel about being fucked by many people? Do they like it? Do they feel slutty, or dirty? How do the others feel as they’re fucking her? Are they turned on by fucking one person with other guys?
Yaoi Sex:
During Yaoi sex, the penetrating sex is anal [ See above for details of both Seme and Uke ] As well as anal, one male can give the other a blowjob, or they 69 each other to give each other blow jobs until orgasm. Rim licking of the anus and you can also put things like dildos into the arse that can cause pleasure. Again, it can also depend on what both partners like during sex, like sadomasochism, sex in public etc etc.
Yuri Sex:
Female on Female sex can involve many ways for the woman to stimulate each other. They can use Oral sex to stimulate their clits, toys such as strap on dildos for vaginal sex, or even scissoring which stimulates both of their clits at the same time [ If you do not know what this looks like, look it up on a Search Engine ]. Females can also grope and fondle each others breasts.The main goal in Yuri sex is to cause each other to orgasm [ As mentioned above in the vaginal sex section ].
Forced Sex [Rape]:
Female Victim Perspective: When a female is raped, they come under great physiological stress [ See Emotional Response for more detail ]. They feel weak and powerless as they are overpowered and violated in one of the worst ways possible. After a few minutes, if the rapist does it right, the victim starts to enjoy the sensation of sex. Most hate themselves for it and this plays on their mind even after the attack has occurred. The victim does not come back to the rapist for more as they would be too petrified by the sight of the attacker to allow consensual sex to occur. They also get into a frame of mind that everyone [Of the sex that attacked her] will do the same. For more information, look at the Emotional Responses.
Male Victim Perspective: When a male is raped, it can affect them worse then it would a female victim. Usually they are ashamed and embarrassed that it had happened to them, whether the attacker was male or female. Their reaction to the rape would be the same as it would for a female, they think that members of the sex of the attacker would do the same and they suffer from nightmares. Male are more likely not to report the attack as they would be too ashamed and embarrassed that it happened to them, even scared of comments like “You fag.” Or “You’re a pussy, you got raped by a woman!”
Rapists Perspective: It depends on the kind of rapist that is committing the act. There are a few types of rapists, but the main two are listed below with the description;
- Gentlemen rapist: Is a rapist that is generally known to the victim. This kind of rapist tends to think that they are in a relationship with the victim, as well as think that the rape is actually consensual sex so they do not actually think that they are doing anything wrong even if their victim is screaming them to stop. This kind usually happens within a relationship where the victim does not want it but their partner forces it onto them.
- Malicious rapist/Opportunist rapist: This kind of rapist seeks control and dominance over their victim. They are usually not known to the victim. This kind of rapist is usually violent and tends to hurt the victim. They are also usually serial rapists, carry a weapon and have a pattern to their rapes. They find some kind of sick pleasure out of their victim resisting.
