Has anyone ever heard of these "Magic Beads?" They're like normal pony beads any child would play with, but they are clear. And then fun thing is, when you take them into the sun, they change color. Why? UV Radiation makes them change.

My whole biology class was given one this morning, and we were instructed to wear it for one week, observe, and report any changes to the bead, if there were any. Once I discovered the sunlight changed the bead, I knew it was UV light (I'd already tried the heat aspect at an earlier time). I am very tempted to write a report on it for no damn reason (Though I suspect we will have to write a paper on it in the future, explaining how UV affects the body and such), because I am intrigued by it.

Doing a little more research, I want to know if I can trigger the bead with a black light, though I believe that is more infrared than ultraviolet. That said, testing is required. Seems like it will be quite fun.

As for the beads, if anyone's had these before, tell me what you think of them. o.o What did you use them for?

Never seen these before. Must be a gimmick. I mean look at glow in the dark condoms. The only proper use for them, is if you as a male, have a male boyfriend with exceptionally large dicks to have a light saber fight in the dark. xD Sounds fun actually.

Other than that, (Other than the obvious. IE to be a contreceptive) I have no idea what the use of them are. Now I read Magic Beads and without clicking the link my first thought was Anal beads. I kid you not. So now couples who like to take small spherical objects and put them where sun don't shine can also have some fun pretending they're their favourate Jedi/Bad guy/ Yoda etc in the bedroom.

Mind you, I respect privacy. Lol. What people get up to in their bedrooms is utterly their own business. Who are we to judge. But if they're pretending to be Yoda with a lightsaber anal beads, then they clearly have more problems than the fact they were conned out of $x/£x amount for a novelty.

Clicking the link however I see that I clearly need help if I thought of Anal beads first. xD But I'd immagine you could use them in raves, sunbed enthuasts, and - oh I don't know. Why would anyone want these. What possible use is there for them?

Aoi; if you find a use for them can you let me know. I'm struggling to even think of a sexual reason. So I know I'm in the shit now. I can't think of a single reason that anyone would want these awesome beads if the effects last for only a few minutes. A few hours I understand, but...

I had some, I made them into bracelets and gave them to my sister so she could give them out at her sleep over. Years ago when I lived with my parents.
